Where are these jobs located?

Concentrix: We have presence across 13 cities in PH, not just in Metro Manila but also in Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio. A lot of work is happening at home, we can go to provinces where connectivity is good.

Concentrix: Skill sets like selling and understanding computers, both fit well in multiple jobs in the BPO sector. Those interacting with customers in previous jobs can provide customer support in BPOs.

Concentrix on hiring tourism workers: Recruitment is all virtual, it can be done through our Facebook page and virtual recruiter portal. We want to hire people fit for the job, we can train them also.

Tourism Undersecretary Benito Bengzon Jr. on travel demand: It's very encouraging that 77% of Filipinos still want to travel domestically even in the absence of vaccine. If at all, it shows appetite is still there and we'd like to capitalize on in the next few months.

DOT on tourism bubbles: We're starting with reef-to-ridge bubble from Baguio City and neighboring Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur will be launched in a few days, Sept. 22. We're all excited, it will be the first travel corridor. bit.ly/33ElBF3

DOT: It's also important for tourism establishments to comply with health and safety guidelines.

DOT: Under Bayanihan 2, there's an amount allocated for tourism stakeholders to gain access to working capital loans, a lifeline for those having no revenues.

When will they receive help? DOT: We're hoping to finalize loan guidelines by next week through the Small Business Corp. We hope to roll out the program in 2 weeks.

Converge ICT founder Dennis Anthony Uy on slow PH internet: A lot of factors play here. First, we need to upgrade our infrastructure for both wired, mobile internet.

How long will it take to level up PH internet? Converge CEO: This is capital-intensive. PH is not easy compared to Singapore, we have more than 7,000 islands.

Converge CEO on poor customer service: We continue delivery of services to our subscribers while safeguarding the health of our people. We're fast-tracking systems and processes, enhanced our customer support.
