It is a “debunked conspiracy theory” except for the at least 13 people who have been arrested for intentionally starting West coast fires, including the Almeda fire, the Ranch 2 fire, the Dolan fire and the Sweet Creek Milepost 2 fire theblaze.com/news/at-least-…
I mean these arrests are public record. This is straight up Orwellian shit. Obviously not all or even most of the fires were started by arsonists but it is equally obvious that some were.
And my gosh, look at all these law enforcement agencies just begging people to stop saying that people have intentionally set these fires

More law enforcement agencies begging people to stop spreading conspiracy theories, really terrible that they have to deal with this

In my own twisted way of thinking, if law enforcement agencies were begging people to stop spreading rumors about these fires being intentionally set, they should stop telling media outlets about people they have arrested for setting fires
I think it's probably safe to say that it is not true (or at least unproven, who knows what information will come out in the weeks and months ahead) that the western US is on fire because of left-wing activists....
It is equally untrue to claim that we don't already know (while the fires are literally still burning) that a lot of these fires were intentionally set for reasons we don't yet know.
