No time for MAGA/ MCGA,! Country before Party. Never will vote for a Reformer! I prefer to honour those that fought/gave their lives, fighting Nazis.

Tonight I am in mourning, filled with an incredible sadness, filled with a burning anger. Tonight we lost an incredible woman, a role model for woman across the world Ruth Bader Ginsburg. One of the most respected, fair & balanced voices on the Supreme Court 1/

The notorious RBG showed us what true courage was. Her values, dedication, helped change the landscape of America, for the better for so many people. Battling cancer, broken ribs, the loss of her husband, RGB still showed up everyday to protect & uphold the constitution. 2/

Tonight as so many are in shock, in mourning at the news of her passing. As people gather in front of the Supreme Court to mourn this loss, @senatemajldr is busy working the phones pressuring his party, to ensure they can squeeze in, before the election, her replacement. 3/

Just the lack of respect that Mitch McConnell, who with-in moments of hearing of her passing issued a statement saying they would have a vote on a new Justice to replace her should outrage anyone with any moral fortitude on its own. 4/

The pure hypocrisy of him doing this, should the Senate allow this vote to take place, is the beyond hypocrisy, it is dangerous. Until today, the Supreme Court was the last institution where America had any hope of stopping corporations for raping the environment, 5/

stopping religious zealots from stripping away the rights of women, of the LGBTQ community, workers rights, voting rights, civil rights. It was also the last institution that could stop Trump from turning America into a totalitarian country. 6/

Republican Senators now face a choice. They can agree or bow down to the pressure from Mitch. Watch that last legal institution become no more than another arm for Trump to use against Americans, maybe one day themselves. Live forever in fear of Trump 7/

Or they can stand up, block the vote, wait for the election & try to protect the Supreme Court, the Constitution, stand by their words when they refused to appoint Garland during an election year & perhaps save democracy. 8/

To those Senators that can block this vote, please block it. Do not let the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg be the final death toll for American democracy.
