people are mourning RBG, some are even showing a level of reverence for her, other folks are angry that people are mourning and are speaking honestly about RBG’s work and it’s failings, other people think that’s inappropriate.

some of us think that we’re going to direct action our way out of this. other suggest we use the power of the ballot. and there are stances that fall on all places along that spectrum.
we are feeling grief, fear, possibility in our bodies but if we continue to let our own righteousness blind us, we will lose our ability to see each other and a collective way forward.
binaries and absolutes are not revolutionary. they are not in alignment with who we are, what we believe or the world we want midwife.
if we want to (in the words of the Zapatistas) create ‘un mundo donde quepan muchos mundos’
a world where many worlds exist.
then the only way through is together.
