I didn’t know RBG. I didn’t have the honor of meeting her. Although I desperately wish that I had. Each of us has our own reason for why she inspired us and why we loved her. Here’s mine... as an activist, I made the decision to work with men...

I say it a lot “If women alone could stop sexual violence, we would have already done it.” Knowing that men are the solution & knowing that men take up every space that results in any decisions made for women - I also knew that I had to be able to connect w men...

RBG was a role model for me. Consider everything she accomplished in her life and how many men she had to engage, educate, and empower to see her goals and dreams come to fruition...

When I read her quote “Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.” I immediately think about men and this quote guides my work...

Her life inspires me that the impossible is possible. That the perceived “enemy” can also become the ally and that if you stay the course and fight for what is right - you can leave the world better than you found it.

I miss you, RBG. May you forever Rest In Peace & Power 🙏🏼
