Blind date

It was the third day of the school festival, JC finally had a free time after his game finished. He was just happily enjoying the food when his eyes suddenly got blindfolded. The sheer force and loud cackle he heard came from none other than Wei Wuxian.

Jiang Cheng knew that his class decided to do this Blind date booth, which he is fully against with thats why he decided to participate in sports. Wei Wuxian instigated the whole shit and promised not to get him involved but of course that gotta be a lie.

"What the fuck Wei Wuxian! You said I'm out of this!"

"Well someone paid really high to set you up today" he chuckled dragging Jiang Cheng towards their booth. Now he felt bad for the unfortunate soul who got dragged with this whole mess.

"Who did they pair me with?"

"I dunno.. Huaisang is working on it, and where is the fun in knowing it now?"

And so Jiang Cheng’s fate is sealed and he was led inside the room and into a table. He could hear Huaisang and the chair across him and someone sitting in front of him.

"Okay you two got fifteen minutes and there is snack in the table, enjoy" Wei Wuxian bounced away and Jiang Cheng slowly removed the blindfold, blinking his eyes he saw the person across him also did the same thing and when he looked up he finally saw who was his 'date'

"Lan Xichen..." Jiang Cheng gasped and Lan XiChen looked surprised but it was immediately replaced by a small smile.

"That was rather unexpected.." Lan Xichen chuckled and looked at the snack on the table.

"Yeah by the way, I suggest you dont eat that if you still want to feel your tongue"Jiang Cheng pointed at the cupcake that seemed to be oozing with red paste.

They spent some time enjoying the milk tea instead and Jiang Cheng had to fight back the urge to say something stupid

Or flush around his crush, yes he had been crushing to his senior for a a long time now, Wei Wuxian knew it and he was sure as fuck the asshole set it up. He didn't know if he should thank him... Because it seems that Lan Xichen is actually enjoying his presence?

They barely talked or interact, he is too shy to approach and they just spend time together usually with Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji around. Basically just third wheeling to the couple.

When ten minutes passed Lan Xichen looked at him "We are almost done here"

"Yeah.."

"Do you mind if we spend the rest of the time outside? I mean if you have no game today?" Lan Xichen asked.

"Uh.. I have a last game this afternoon for the championship but before that im.. Like free"

"Great then" Lan Xichen smiled at him.

"Okay okay, Xichen Ge! Jiang Cheng times up!" Wei Wuxian called out and the two stood up from the table and headed outside the room. "I hoped you enjoyed your stay"

"Fuck off!"

"Why are you mad at me?! I got you a date!" Wei Wuxian huffed.

"Its not-- not a date! Tsk I'm sure you set this up!" Jiang Cheng stormed off and Lan XiChen smiled at them.

"I'll see you later Wei Wuxian" Lan Xichen and Wei Wuxian exchanged a look and the two left.

"Did you really set those two up?" Huaisang asked as he cleaned the table.

"No it's technically not me, i just agreed cause i got a really good trade" Wei Wuxian shrugged.

"Who could have done such thing" Huaisang muttered.

Wei Wuxian chuckled and pulled out some photos from his pockets, more precisely Lan Wangji’s baby pictures.

"Yeah.. I wonder who could It be"

Well at the end of the day its a win win for him and Jiang Cheng.
