2/6 1.Since 26 April Guatemala has required a negative COVID test for all deportations from the US (ICE and Guatemala confirmed). From 1 May to 18 Sept, 744 unaccompanied children (UACs) have been repatriated by the US to Guatemala....
3/6..If these children tested negative, as required, they are NO HEALTH RISK to the US. How can you expel children, alone, to Guatemala under Title 42 (CDC order) if they pose NO HEALTH RISK to the US?? This is illogical, right??
4/6 2. 8,800 UACs expelled under Title 42. There's NO PROCESS to DOCUMENT the hand off from CBP to MX Immigration (INM) (per CBP). NO documented record of what happens to these children. How many have been trafficked?? How would you know?? Violation of TVPRA??
5/6 3. Mid-March to August 10,200 UAC encounters by CBP ( March est at 1/2 month). 8,800 expelled (86%). 4,200 Mexican UAC encounters April through July. So at 86%, that's 3,600 expulsions of Mexican children, alone, April through July. BUT the Gov't of MX....
6/6....reports only 2,100 repatriations of UACs under the reparation agm't with US. A GAP of 1,500 for only 4 mo. Maybe over 2,000 total time. Why?? Do we not conform to the agreement?? Don't you care enough to pay attention?? Where are the children?? Do U care?
