Naga Bandhana or Naga Pasam is believed to be an ancient technique to protect valuable treasures with the help of Nagas (the Serpents).
Its a Lock Unlocked system by the sound waves produced by certain Mantras (Garuda Mantra)
It is highly secretive &
was Known only to few Siddha Sadhu of ancient India.
There is no written form of Naga Bandham Mantra in any ancient text.
The Garuda Mantra is said to be found in Agama text.
The Garuda Mantras have to utter in a specific form to match the lock .
So only Siddha Purusa having the
knowledge of Alchemy and Yogic Power can unlock the lock.
It is belived that the mysterious treasures Vault B in the Padmanabhaswamy temple
Thiruvanantapuram,was closed by Asta Naga Bandham Mantras by Siddha Sadhu in 16th century. The temple has specific sets of Mantras .
There are many others temples of Cholas & ancient temples like Konark have many architectural feature consisting of Naga Bandhana design.
