H.R. 6210, The Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act passed three House 406-3 last night, led by @RepMcGovern and @RepChrisSmith. Among other things, the bill would authorize sanctions against Chinese officials responsible for forced labor abuses
against the Muslim Uyghur population
2/ ....the bill would also require companies listed on U.S. exchanges to disclose their engagement with entities in Xinjiang that abuse human rights. Supporters of the bill say that Xinjiang produces more than 20% of the world’s cotton...
