Me: You mean the 2023 times that people have judged my work? I am *absolutely* NOT paying attention to that.
For years, I've been able to scrape by paying ZERO attention to the numbers that relate to my books. I don't intend to start now.
In fact, the only numbers that I pay attention to are Dewey Decimals and Library of Congress record. Maybe ISBN.
I understand that I'm probably abdicating a certain level of responsibility & acting in a childish manner. It is what it is. Sue me. (Or don't b/c I honestly don't know if I have the $ to settle. Ask the guy checking out my Goodreads profile.)
And yes, I understand that this thread could come off as a kind of humble brag. But truthfully, it's just a panic thread brought you by garden variety anxiety.
I guess this is the place where I'm supposed to tell people to go buy my books & read them. (Man looking at @goodreads says yes so...) But also, don't tell me if you do. lol
