If Canary Wharf College get Westferry government will probably pay for construction as well
Only issue is not clear if Richard Desmond has signed the lease with the Council yet or not
George Greens built in 1970's & definitely needs modern buildings
But I was concerned that

But this is good news for the Isle of Dogs, two modern secondary school buildings

In a follow up question from @going4golds officers confirmed that the Council would pass on its responsibility for the Westferry site to the Department of Education which should unlock Desmond signing the lease, as last August at the public inquiry his representatives said

they would sign a lease with the Department 'tomorrow'
