You’re not going to believe this... they’re here! Minute before midnight, in force from 5am and on 28th

The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No. 2) (England) (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations 2020

legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/1029…

Signed by “Bethell”. Just “Bethell” /2

Here’s the explanatory note. Will do the rest in the morning. Basically
- many business must close by 10pm from today
- weddings, other gatherings down from 30 to 15 people from Monday 28th
- fines doubling, starting £200 rising to £6,400

Excuse my ignorance, “Bethell” is correct for a peer. Not as cool as McLovin though

It looks like 'significant event gatherings', which only became a thing with the rule of six regulations last week, have now been taken out of the regulations entirely. Significant event gatherings, little we knew ye. Replaced by funerals (15 people or less) /5

This was what they were - significant event gatherings. Now gone as an exception to the rule of six /6
