I'm gonna be talking about the way the right-wing side of the MLP fandom uses cancel culture as a weapon against anyone who attempts to become a better person.

To start, these caps of @TheTazen were released solely because she decided to leave @EtheriumApex's circle of nazis.

For a while, Taze hung around with Etherium, Queen Buggo and other right-wing members of the community in Etherium's private discord server. When she decided to leave and criticize those in it, they decided she had betrayed them.

Right-wing communities like the one Etherium runs generally run on the Mutally Assured Destruction principle: Nobody dares leave or criticize the group because everyone in it has said reprehensible shit.

Etherium himself has repeatedly threatened to tattle on those who leave.

This keeps people who enter those communities trapped in a cage of their own making. People who join use the relaxed rules to sling racial slurs and transphobia, but then if they ever want to leave they're blackmailed IMMEDIATELY.

Etherium did the same thing to Suskii.

The people currently trying to "cancel" Taze aren't doing it because they dislike bigotry and want to make the pony community a more welcome place.

Its pure, spiteful revenge. They've made this obvious by the way they talk about how based (i.e Right-wing) Taze used to be.

Now as for the caps themselves? Yeah, they're pretty bad. Standard-fare right-wing reactionary edgy posting with an extra heaping of racism.

But unlike someone like Etherium who triples down and shows no signs of wanting to change, Taze is making an effort. An ACTUAL effort.

Nobody is beyond redemption. And I refuse to play into this bullshit weaponization of criticism threads to dunk on someone who wants to get away from bad people in the community.

Its my belief that if you show yourself to be willing to grow then I should give you that chance.

This extends to anybody who is looking for a way out of toxic communities. I know what its like to have your past constantly dug up and paraded around simply because you want to ditch shitty people. If you want to change I will give you that chance.

This goes for Etherium, too.

Again, the stuff in these caps is extremely bad, and you don't have to forgive her. She will HAVE to work hard to prove to people she's actually trying to change.

But I refuse to play the game these nazi chucklefucks want me to play. There is ALWAYS a way out.

If I managed to get away from hateful right-wing circles then other people deserve the chance to grow as well. It would be hypocritical of me to shit on someone for saying bad things in the past if they're trying to be less of turd-blossom now.
