WISDOM FROM PACMAN
//A Thread//
10 of my favorite quotes from one of the greatest boxers of all time.
The one and only Manny Pacquiao.
1. “No notes. You speak from deep in your heart. It’s easy.”
The one that is going to change your twitter game.
Forget what you think you need to write.
Write from the heart.
Watch your account explode.
2. “You train hard and I’ll train hard, and may the best man win, and good luck to both of us.”
Respecting your opponent is respecting yourself.
You need to go up against the best in order to be the best version of yourself.
3. “It’s just a game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.”
In boxing and in life.
You win some you lose some.
The wins wouldn't be as sweet without the losses.
Embrace them and move on.
4. “Thank you to every person who has told me I can’t. You are just another reason I will.”
You say I can't.
I know I will.
5. “It’s not about material things, it’s about the honor that I’m bringing to the country.”
Don't live your life for money.
Money comes and goes.
Have a purpose. A mission.
The money will follow.
6. “Fearless is getting back up and fighting for what you want over and over again, even though every time you’ve tried before you’ve lost.”
No matter the L's.
We keep going.
7. “Without God we are nothing.”
Whether you believe in god or not is irrelevant to this point.
The universe/the world/life are all greater than you.
Realizing how insignificant we are will really set you free.
8. “The best attitude of being an athlete is respect and professionalism.”
In combat sports and in life.
Always respectful, humble, and professional.
Maintain your image.
9. “Don’t make training easy. Make it harder so that you will get better.”
Work your hardest when no one is watching.
That's what separates you from them.
10. “Boxing is not about your feelings. It’s about performance.”
LIFE is not about your feelings.
Nobody cares.
You either perform or you get left behind.
Thanks for reading the 2nd edition of wisdom from the best boxers of all time.
In case you didn't notice I'm a big combat sports fan.
Will keep these coming. 👊👊👊
A retweet on the first post would be appreciated!
