2⃣Department hires a visiting professor to teach a class on African American political thought 🎉🥳 and... she's an AEI fellow who thinks "the declining interest and involvement in baseball is a consequence of the absence of fathers in the black community" 🤡🤡
Oh, and this professor thinks that population declines in Baltimore are the result of Black women getting too many abortions. And also that the erosion of "Bible-based faith" has caused the emergence of "angry middle-class blacks". ⬇️
3⃣ And now an instructor in the Harvard Gov department who teaches a class on "Data" has decided to invite... Charles Murray? as a visiting speaker??

Maybe if you're teaching a class on "how to think with data" you should try to *scrutinize* the work of infamous peddlers of racist pseudoscience, rather than giving them a platform to mindlessly repeat said pseudoscience to goose up sales of their latest book??
BUT don't worry: we also have a new Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee, to ensure "a climate that allows all of its members to do their best possible work in an environment that is inclusive of diverse scholars."
Phew. I was getting worried for a sec there!
