Ya guys. Showed up at the airport to get checked out in a C172 this morning (I trained on C152s) only to be told the owner saw my post about sexual harassment/carbon monoxide and is trying to ground me for "writing a bad review" and that the CFI was instructed not to fly with me

I wrote about my honest experiences on my own personal social media and didn't even name the school.

I had screenshots of inappropriate behavior. My CFI showed them to the owner. I reported the carbon monoxide directly to him and he told me "nah you're imagining it sweetie".

The chief of maintenance (owner's son) was there when the new CFI (the one owner called to tell not to let me fly) told me what was going on. I asked him about the CO leak. NO ONE TOLD HIM. Multiple reports to the owner from women (we feel the effects first) and he never told A&P

The creepy sexual harassment CFI had a few complaints against him too. One girl would only fly with him if her boyfriend tagged along in the back. All reported with no consequences.

He got fired last month for stealing a $200 headset. Talk about priorities. Property>people.

Am I going crazy? Do I just create drama wherever I go? Am I just a big ol' complainer? I dont even know what's in my head or real at this point.
I don't have proof of CO because the planes aren't equipped with CO detectors. I just know I lost muscular control & went numb/babbly

Did I make a mistake by using social media to air my frustration? I understand having a following is a responsibility and I do need to be careful. My intention is not to hurt anyone and I fear a CFI or two is now caught in the crossfire.

Anyway. All I wanted was to earn my wings and then fly my best friend to Carroll County Airport for their famous pie which I still haven't tried. Alas...

Let me know if there are any good pies at airport restaurants in SoCal, I'll try again after I move 😂
