I think many Christians who lend tacit support to organizations that are Marxist, anti-nuclear family, and anti-binary sexuality are kicking against the goads and actually opposing God. Their motivation may be something that is good. I mean who doesn’t want to oppose injustice
/ where it may be found? But there is something far more theological that is being missed. Many of the protesters/rioters are actual anarchists wanting to blow up the structures and systems of society. That’s why they attack police officers, that’s why they burn buildings down,
/ that’s why they loot, and that’s why some of their “priestly” philosophers within the intelligentsia go on the radio and advocate for looting as a form of justice. Listen, as soon as God spoke to universe into existence, in the first nanosecond it was unordered, formless, void
/ chaotic. Yet, with mere words, God spoke absolute order and perfection into creation, thus obliterating chaos. Then he created humanity in his image and told us to have dominion over the entire earth. Abraham Kuyper was right when he said had there not been the Fall, humanity
/ would have spread the garden over the whole world and it would’ve become a world garden and a world city. Fast forward to the end of the Bible, and what do we see in the new creation? A new earth that happens to be a world city and a world garden (that also happens to be one
/ giant holy of holies). It’s always been about a move towards greater and greater order and harmony. And even with the Fall of man, marriage, family, tribes, and societies have been elements of common grace, even though sin mixes itself into these graces. Despite that, we are
/still supposed to work for the good order of society. When Israel was exiled to Babylon, Jeremiah told them to work for the good of the Babylonian society and to try to be a blessing to it, because that only creates greater stability for their own lives while they are in exile.
/ Again order only helps everyone because it’s God’s theological trajectory. Well now we have organizations with hundreds of thousands of followers, and a bunch of well-meaning people providing moral support to them, and yet their goal is to reverse the order that God commands.
/ They actually seek chaos, which is always in opposition to the work of God. Break up the nuclear family, redefine marriage to where it becomes meaningless, obliterate the concept of private property in order to justify wholesale thievery, undermine parental authority, destroy
/ an economy that allows people to work and prosper, remove the checks and balances built into a constitutional republic because then the sinful mobs of anarchy could perpetually have their way. I guess what I’m trying to say, is even if an organization’s title means something
/ good, if the organization itself promotes anarchy and the destruction of social good order, then they are trying to undo what God did the moment he started speaking creation into reality. What Christian wants to be found on the opposite side of God? What Christian wants to be
/ found in opposition to God’s own telos? People need to start thinking big picture. The rioters are evil and satanic. The organizations that fuel them are evil and satanic. Don’t support them. Support real justice; biblical justice, but speak out against the chaos. Otherwise,
/ it seems as if you are acting cowardly or even worse, desiring the applause of men.
