Lori Abrams came down with a Black Lives Matter sign and is walking solo towards the event. She's continuing even after others warned her that it is dangerous.

It's about a 20-minute walk to a nearby event organized by Black activists. There are about 200 gathered, listening to a speech about the history of Vanport, where many Black families moved as part of the shipbuilding effort of World War 2.

The event with BLM activists at Vanport has wrapped up, and the crowd is departing in a large vehicle caravan. Police are watching at a nearby intersection.
