Le ministère américain écrit "Hydroxychloroquine does not benefit mild-moderate COVID-19 cases, was associated with adverse cardiac events in severely ill patients, and increases mortality when combined with azithromycin"

Several large clinical trials have stopped
administering hydroxychloroquine due to lack of efficacy. Other existing studies have found no benefit of
hydroxychloroquine (with or without azithromycin) as well as cardiac side effects and elevated risk of mortality.

Hydroxychloroquine does not protect individuals from infection either before or after exposure. The FDA revoked its EUA for the drug on 6/15/20
