The only instance in which it should be used by pregnant women is when there is TOTALLY no other option. And when the benefits is way higher than the harm it might cause to the baby or mother.
Pentazocine shouldn’t be used with people with the following conditions:
-kidney disease
-Asthma or problem breathing
-Liver disease
-Seizures
-Mood disorders.
Other conditions not mentioned here exist in which this drug shouldn’t be taken in.
Don’t drink alcohol and take pentazocine, alcohol heightens the effects of pentazocine and while on this drug, it is advisable not to operate machinery or drive.
Always consult your healthcare provider before starting this medication and always consult your healthcare provider as this drug might result in withdrawal symptoms as such, your dose might be reduced gradually until you no longer need it.
