Terror group using Lebanese civilians as human shields.
That’s a war crime.
Even the UN General Assembly passed a resolution declaring the use of human shields to be a war crime.
With today’s revelations, @realDonaldTrump should ask @stevenmnuchin1 to designate Hezbollah as war criminals under the 2018 Sanctioning the Use of Civilians as Defenseless Shields Act.
As further detail: On June 26, 2018 UNGA condemned the use of human shields in its updated UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy Review, which passed unanimously. Specifically, the resolution “strongly condemns the use of civilians to shield military objectives from attack.”
Human shields use was made a war crime by the Fourth Geneva Convention, in 1949.
