Opinionism: A form of prejudice whereby you assume you know everything about a person based on a single opinion they hold.
While other prejudices and -isms have lost acceptability in polite society, opinionism has gained support and is considered a totally reasonable form of bias.
People of all ages, backgrounds, and political stripes enjoy making snap judgments about people based on a single opinion.

I get it. It’s fun and easy and totally acceptable!
Finally a prejudice for everyone.
The alternative is hard. Getting to know people. Seeking out points of agreement instead of stopping at the first disagreement.
Accepting that people hold a “mixed set” of opinions is hard!
(Until you recognize it in yourself)
Surely someone will chime in with some example:
What if Katherine says she wants to eat my whole family?
Well Reader, Dave your exception. You are going to have to draw your own boundaries.
As I have begun to separate who people are from the opinions they hold, I have had a bit of an awakening.
There are people I agree with about almost everything who I don’t really like.
There are people I really like who hold opinions different than me.
If you like your prejudice, you can keep your prejudice.
I’m enjoying my days and the people I meet during them more as I put this one down.
