1 \ Azerbaijan's army is using Israeli “kamikaze drones” to strike Armenian forces in the clashes over Nagorno-Karabakh, the foreign policy adviser to the President of Azerbaijan told me in an interview. Watch here:

2 \ Armenia protested several times in recent years the Israeli arms sales to Azerbaijan mainly sale of Harrop “Kamikaze” drones. @HikmetHajiyev confirmed in our interview that Azerbaijan uses Israel drones for intelligence gathering and airstrikes – including the Harrop drone

3 \ The Azerbaijani presidential adviser told me: “The Harrop drones that have proved themselves very effective and big Chapeau to the engineers who designed it. If Armenia is scared of the drones that Azerbaijan is using it should stop its occupation”

4 \ Israel & Azerbaijan have strategic cooperation. @HikmetHajiyev told me: “The Israel-Azerbaijan defense cooperation is about strengthening the defense capabilities of Azerbaijan. We are in a defensive mode&this technology helps Azerbaijan to provide security for its citizens”

5 \ In the last several days an “air train” of cargo planes affiliated with the Azeri ministry of defense departed to Israel. According to flight radar apps the Azeri cargo planes landed in Ovda airbase in southern Israel and went back to Azerbaijan few hours later

6 \ During our interview today another Ilyushin 76 cargo plane owned by the Azeri Silk way airlines landed in Ovda base. Israeli analysts believe those plane carry weapons from Israel to Azerbaijan. Israeli officials refuse to confirm this. This is what @HikmetHajiyev told me:

8 \ @HikmetHajiyev denied any Turkish involvement in the fighting. He claimed Azeri military radars showed two Armenian fighter jets crashing into a mountain, rather than being shot down

9 \ Hajiyev said any ceasefire must include an Armenian withdrawal from positions from which it can attack Azeri civilians. END
