In 2018, she was behind by 9 votes and 29 absentee ballots were rejected because they had barcodes and not traditional postmarks.
🗳️ Had these votes been counted, she likely would have won.
She went to court.
The court sent her to the Republican-led #Iowa legislature. Not surprisingly, they voted not to count the votes.
