#legionofsuperheores 8 and 9 already is and will probably always be one of my personal favorite things I have ever done in comics. its legion, its art, its beautiful work from people you NEVER thought you'd see together in a book like this. its a real 'only comics' experience.

we planned this crazy 40 artists jam pre lockdown and when the shit hit the fan I thought a lot of artists would bail, and I would totally understand, but instead I started getting texts and emails: 'we're still doing the legion thing, right? I need to go to space.'

I loooove jam comics! some of you know I have spent part of my life chasing the amazing experience of reading the greatest jam comic of all time justice league 200

it was a HUGE reading moment for me growing up. it was my first introduction to most of my favorite comic Artists of all time.

the minute marvel let me, I dove for it in ultimate spider-man super special... Michael golden cover? yes please. @davegibbons90 on FF, P. Craig Russel on Dr. strange, @alexmaleev first Spider-man...

daredevil 65 is one of my personal favorites because most dont even know it's a jam until you open it. my first time working with @ShadeX6 pre x-men, Michael Golden interior. @philhester punisher!

and the glory that was All new x-men 25. this one came out so good the all star jam issue scratch was ALMOST itched :) almost!

all of these comics are monumental editorial chores. its a lot of paperwork and cat herding from amazing editors.

for legion, I was inspired by one of the other great jam comics of all time: the Fred Hembeck roast. all my favorite comic creators goofing on themselves in old school delightful ways. we didn't goof on ourselves but the one artist a page gauntlet had been thrown @FredHembeck

decades later, when they reprinted the roast, it was packaged in a goof on us/ House of M. pretty cool!
