Dear families, this time is challenging, so very challenging. First, thank you for your feedback on how things are going for your children w/ #ConnectedLearning. I love when you copy me on happy emails to teachers! It lets @CPES_AP & me join in the celebration!

Let me take a moment and thank YOU - after all, we’re partners in this. You, friends, are amazing! 100% of you have ensured we are connected with your children. You share constructive feedback w/ teachers so we can adjust this new way of teaching to meet your child’s needs.
2/

Whether your child is at your home all day, at a friend’s home, or at childcare, it doesn’t matter - you have made this work for your children! Thank you!!

It has not been easy, we know that for sure. You have sacrificed much to adapt to this ongoing crisis so your children come through safe and healthy. None of us want to be in the position we’re in now, and together, we are making the absolute most of it.
4/

Children can come out of this 1 of 2 ways: resilient, hopeful, & critical thinkers, or w/ heightened anxiety, feelings of helplessness, & maybe even fear of unpredictability/the unknown. Your children because of your partnership & love & guidance, are going to FLY in the end.
5/

Families, we see you, we hear you. You welcome us into your homes- incl those in childcare, you never hesitate to invite us in virtually to meet about how things are going w/ your child. We know you are working hard, all of us do. We know this is so difficult, & you are doing it!

And we are cheering for you every bit as much as you are cheering for us!

7/

On these nice days, we hear you and your childcare teachers getting children outside for fresh air and rich breaks. Let them explore, climb trees, build, invent games, laugh. Always laugh.
8/

These times are tough, and you are doing it. We are doing it.

9/

Together.

Thank you ♥️
