@Hadithoftheday Al-Baqarah (The Cow) - Chapter 2, and Al-Feel (The Elephant) - Chapter 105 of Quran.
Both belong to the family of mammals.

However, An-Nahl (the bees), An-Naml (The Ant), and Al-Ankaboot (The spider) belong to family of insects. But insects come under the family of animalae.😉

@Hadithoftheday There are six chapters in the Quran which are named after animals or insects:
1. Al Baqarah (The Cow)-Chap 2
2. Al An'aam (The Cattle)-Chap 6
3. Al Nahl (The Bees)-Chap 16
4. Al Naml (The Ants)-Chap 27
5. Al Ankabut (The Spider)-Chap 29; &
6. Al Fil (The Elephant)-Chap 105

@Hadithoftheday 1. Surah Baqarah : The title of this surah refers to an argument between Musa A.S and the Israelites over a cow they should sacrifice in order to make known the murder of a slain man.
Story is mentioned in verses between 67-73 of Surah Baqarah.

@Hadithoftheday 2. Surah An'aam :The surah takes its name from the discussion of idolatrous ritual prohibitions on the consumption of certain kinds of cattle and the Quranic assertion, in response, that Allah puts no such restrictions on the cattle He has created & allowed for human consumption+

@Hadithoftheday This Surah takes it's Name from Verse 136,138 and 139 where superstitions regarding lawfulness and unlawfulness of some cattle are discussed.

@Hadithoftheday 3. Surah Feel : The Surah derives its name from the word "ashab-al-feel" in the very first verse of this Surah.

The story of the owners of the elephant is given in Sura Al-Feel.
It is a story illustrating the fate of those who tried to attack the Ka’aba.+

@Hadithoftheday This Surah, as its name indicates, refers to well-known historical event that happened in the year of the birth of the Prophet ﷺ when Allah protected the Ka'aba against the attack of the army of pagans who riding on the backs of elephants, came from Yemen intending to destroy it

@Hadithoftheday 4.An-Nahl: It is named after the bee mentioned in verse 68 of this chapter.
The bee is one of many examples mentioned in this chapter of Allah’s grace towards His creation.
+

@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:

And your Lord inspired to the bee, "Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct. (An-Nahl 16:68)

@Hadithoftheday 5. Surah Naml: This is called "An-Naml" (Ant) because it narrates the story of ants and the Prophet Sulayman A.S.
Surah Naml is named after 'the Ant' mentioned in (27:18). This is the only mention of 'the Ant' in the whole of the Glorious Qur'an.
+

@Hadithoftheday Brief story of Sulayman A.S and Ant:
Once Sulayman A.S was on a journey with his battalion consisted of jinns and birds. They then reached to a valley of ants. +

@Hadithoftheday When an ant saw Sulayman A.S, she said to rest of the ants to go get themselves inside their houses as Sulayman A.S and his force may crush then by foot and they may not even realize it how much small living being they have destroyed. . +

@Hadithoftheday Sulayman A.S listened what the ant has said and laughed and thanked to Almighty Allah for this blessing (understanding the language of animals).

@Hadithoftheday 6. Ankaboot (The spider): The Spider, takes its name from the description of the spider’s house building skills in verse 41 of Surah Ankaboot.

@Hadithoftheday The fragility of a spider’s web is used as an example to warn disbelievers:
Allah says in Quran:
“The example of those who take allies other than Allah is like that of the spider who takes a home.& indeed,the weakest of homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew.”(29:41)
