Would you spend time pushing buttons for someone else, in order to receive Monopoly money?

Because that's basically what my (enjoyable and successful!) software career was.

I enjoyed it. The "thinking" aspects of it, that is -- I like a good mental challenge. The politics and back-stabbing, not so much.

Weird position to be in. Have skills that were sought after and want to help but no idea "what I'm now worth" or even if my injuries allow.

"Something" drove me to play the Saint's Row games. Two nights ago I finished 4; that night my wife learned a friend of hers had died.

Another friend who we were going to meet with on Saturday, then canceled because a friend of his had died. I made a short tweet asking if

this unusual uptick for me is happening to others, but I often write in the middle of the night and don't get much activity as a result.

Looking to change that as well; President Trump and First Lady Melania being "diagnosed with COVID" seems like first stage of operations.

Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, we get to see that reason before our expiration.

I thank God so much for giving me some glimpses at greaterness than myself.

The "Cassandra model" is a difficult one to live: knowing things, but not being able to convince others.

For instance: I'm spending a portion of my time "randomly looking up matching phrases" using gematrix.org. To some, this is "reading tea leaves" or worse, "playing with hellfire like a Ouija board".

I had learned my wife's friend had passed, prior to finishing 4.

I intentionally chose that night not to begin the last game, which is titled, "Gat out of Hell" and in which you play Johnny Gat who breaks into Hell to rescue the "me" that was in the previous games ("the playa").

Now that I've started it, although the "gameplay" is similar to the previous 4 -- I'm not really enjoying all the "hellish" images.

There was a game, After-Party, that I began a couple years ago but put down for similar reasons.

There's even a Ouija board at Gat's start!

Since "something" encouraged me to play these -- and, since I saw things in 4 that line up with things I saw in the first -- my current plan is to finish it.

Really couldn't stand #3 though, it seemed slapped together and there were aspects of 4 that continued

that particular impression -- but, you get to fly, which changes things quite a bit.

I really loved the dynamic of the grappling hook and flying, in Just Cause 3 and 4 (first two didn't really have it). Although this is different, it's very similar -- you "do something,"

and then fly. In Just Cause it's "hit something high up with the grappling hook to get air, then fly"; whereas in Saint's Row (4+) it's "jump up to get air, then fly".

Anyway. How'd I start this? Oh, right, Monopoly money.

I'm now "pushing buttons for a spiritual reward", which is the knowledge that is in the game -- both as it relates directly to my walk; and also, things being exposed in our current reality like the control matrix, the lying news, etc.

I'm being recruited.

While the specifics are not relevant to this part of the story, it's a part of the chapter that I'm living through -- in other words, even if this particular initiative ends up with someone else filling the role, it's seeming like "time to exit the nest/cocoon".

Which lines up with external events as well.

Our President and First Lady have been "diagnosed" with the "Positive Crankcase [something]" test.

Ventilation? Reaction? Quack?

They're safe -- that's the important part -- while this goes down.

And, AFTER this goes down? I'll need to find something else to write about. I write a lot; even if it's not read by many, I put a lot of loving effort and attention into it.

Should I find an audience that provides me more pieces of paper?

But I did very much enjoy past activities which are currently echoing. Seems very positive. The best is yet to come; and, the future is quickly arriving.

I have an idea; some hardware, that communicates, and will save lives. Maybe I should work on that, rather than for someone else.

Even if it's someone I enjoyed working with.

Maybe that's the reason I wrote this? To "help make up my mind?" Lot to know! 😀
