Like Hikvision, the US has sanctioned Dahua for its role in surveillance of Uyghurs in Xinjiang and of other minorities in China.

The software can detect Uyghur / Not-Uyghur, race, obtain various facial characteristics, whether the person has a beard or wearing a mask.
It also assigns an “attractiveness” score between 1 to 100

@ycombinator The person who uploaded Dahua Technology's SDK to GitHub has now deleted the repo for obvious reasons.
But it has been archived, for our record keeping.
