All of this is to say that the celebrating over the GOP becoming the party of the "coalition of the ascendant" is premature, primarily because we do not want to accept that the core, the largest element of that coalition, remains the white working-class. 7/
We need to be intellectually honest about this. Immigration and demographics are about control, control is about power. The Democratic Party knows this and says it loud and proud. Immigration is simply bad for the ends of social conservatism and sovereignty. 8/
Moreover, it is simply not possible to alter the course of the country with the GOP's current strategy of literally just trying to replicate the talking points, ideas, and ends of the Democratic Party. 9/
