The way humans behave as they progress from:
Conquering ‘Barbarians’ to Decadent Luxury.
A love of money and selfishness are key markers, amongst some others you might recognise.
Interesting one to ponder...
The Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.
By my calculations that makes the USA 254 years old.
Glubb wrote this paper in the 1970s, 50 years ago.
