Siskind lying through his teeth denying his obvious alignment with Murray.
An interesting phenomenon in all this has been the out and proud neoreactionaries/eugenicists calling for Scott to “stop being a coward”. They seem to feel thrown under the bus.

If you go to the quote tweets of the first tweet in this thread, depressingly it is about 60% condemnation as you’d expect and 40% NRX chuds commenting “based” or some variant

Eliezer Yudkowsky, definitely not wannabe cult-leader, condemns Topher as obviously evil for coming forward with these tweets. More surprising is the lack of significant disagreement in the thread. Needless to say, the contents of the emails are never mentioned by Yud or others.

I don't think I've seen criticism of Scott for these emails from even a single follower of his on public channels. Dangerous mindset when criticism cannot be aired in the interest of protecting the community's image. PDF of facebook thread:

As Arthur points out, the rationalist community does not have a great history with handling abuse in their community with anything remotely resembling accountability. The worst examples being Kathy Forth, her suicide and its aftermath. cw: sexual assault

Fascinatingly, it seems that he used his real name to be ... more racist than he could under his more popular pseudonym.
Puts the lie to the entire "doxxing" controversy, making it clear that the true objection was to negative coverage.

Scott (Alexander) Siskind appears to ask him what he thinks of Gregory Cochran, another famous race/IQ pseudoscience guy (long-time collaborator of white nationalist Harry Harpending per @splcenter )

The blog post is about a fish, Siskind is too much of a caricature for fiction.

@avi_eisen @slatestarcodex @JenniferRaff How did this hypothetical creature you've conjured know that Scott was a fan of Gregory Cochran and Jayman, do tell? (as you can see in the email)

Re: the comments by Scott under the name Scott Siskind, someone has pointed out that Scott claimed to have been misrepresented by angry racist profanity laden comments under his name.

While that may also be true, the two comments in question accord with his views...

... in a very precise way. In 2017, 3 years later Scott wrote a several thousand word essay on the IQ of Ashkenazi Jews based on a paper by the scientific racist Cochran who was mentioned earlier.
He has mentioned Jayman favorably over the years.

In the discussion above, @avi_eisen points out that Scott had linked to Jayman and Cochran's blogs and a hypothetical detractor could have come across them there.

... this seems to me to be a distinction without a difference.

Given the evidence from the email that Scott lies (and specifically on this topic) when it suits his public image I find it much easier to believe that he put up that disclaimer when somebody stumbled on it.
