Antarctic ice accumulation & loss are in almost perfect balance. Some studies show it is gaining ice, some show it is losing ice, but all show that the net rate, whether positive or negative, is so tiny that it could cause less than 3 inches of sea-level change per century.

Although we don't know with certainty whether it is gaining or losing ice, we do know the rate, either way, is very slow, and its effect on sea-level much less than common coastal processes like erosion and sedimentation.

(The larger EAIS is the coldest place on earth & hasn't melted in millions of yrs.)
