Today I learned that Canadian Natural Resources--the giant company owned by Calgary Flames owner, Billionaire N. Murray Edwards--received $192,648,603.55 from the federal government in CEWS benefits & lobbied the #UCP government for another $117,338,000.00 in funding in 2020.
Found by accident via the Alberta Lobbyist Registry.

#CNRL also took in $192,648,603.55 from the federal government in CEWS benefits.
#CNRL's executives were paid a total of $30,033,982 in compensation in 2020.
That's the equivalent of almost 16% of the $192,648,603.55 they were awarded from the federal CEWS benefit plan going to just six people.
