his life to promote and teach yoga,

....20th century who like earlier pioneers influenced by the physical culture such as Yogendra
and Kuvalayananda, the man with untold story, the man who is
known as the “Father of Modern Yoga”, Tirumalai Krishnmacharya.

The Maharaja of Jaipur called him to serve as the principal of Vidya Shala in Jaipur but he didn’t stay there long enough as he never liked to take instructions. He returned to Varanasi.

K.C. Reddy, the first Chief Minister of Mysore closed his school in 1950. He lost everything he had built, he then went to Madras and joined Vivekananda College as a lecturer. He wanted to teach people all he had gathered in all these years. He passed away in 1989.
