1/7. On Sunday 11th April, I had the satisfaction of great leadership after successfully hosting a WOMEN OF MOMBASA OPEN EDUCATIONAL FORUM at the Renaissance Centre.

2/7. The forum was attended to by 60 women, drawn across all sub counties with each Sub county represented by 20 women each. Many other women joined virtually through our live transmission on Social media platforms.
3/7. In a beautiful african themed set up, The theme discussion was to adopt traditional behavourial practises into modern morals & how aspects of culture, religion & modern morality can be a foundation for more resilient & empowered women.
4/7. The facilitation also included civic-legal education on matters sexual abuse, legal aspects of marriages, legal aspects of divorces and how to come up with frameworks for accessible legal aid.
5/7. On the open forum, attendees discussed issues, asked legal queries, were advised, given appropriate spiritual and legal guidance as well as contacts collected for further assistance.
6/7. The event had a Conclusion topic on civic education in regards to electoral decisions as we gear up to make better democratic choices come 2022.
7/7. We then danced to the cake slicing climax, we sang and believed the tune “ I am a super woman” 🎶🎵🎤 @FemnetProg @kipmurkomen @WilliamsRuto
