This math teacher is speaking out against a dangerous ideology masquerading as "anti-racism" in his elite NYC high school.

Paul Rossi is a beacon of courage, speaking out not only for the kids entrusted under his care & tutelage, but for *all* our kids.

Paul has, in all likelihood, guaranteed career suicide with this move. But what he did today is significant.

He embodied the words of the late Christopher Hitchens to “.... never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. The grave will supply plenty of time for silence.”

Notice the co-opting of certain terminology and concepts from psychotherapy and our new secular religion of wellness:

A “self-care” seminar?

“Neurological disturbance in students’ beings?”

“Restorative practices” to “heal?”

To call this a religion is an insult to religion. Religion at least has pathways to redemption.

This is more like a Cultural Revolution - thought reform on a massive scale, toward a totalizing ideology devoid of any common decency and humanity.

I recently read “Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism: A Study of ‘Brainwashing’ in China” by psychiatrist Robert Lifton.

It’s hard to ignore how perilously close our schools are to espousing the same psychological tactics of mind control practiced by Maoists in the 60s

Please see this for exactly what it is.

This is a struggle session. A form of public humiliation and torture perfected by Mao’s regime with the express intent of persecuting ideological enemies and shaping public opinion by terrorizing everyone else into silence.
