BREAKING: An anti-mask protest is planned for a Santa Monica daycare this morning. This comes a week after a similar protest at Hawthorne Elementary and days after Tucker Carlson called face masks on children “child abuse.”
“Masks are child abuse,” the flyer reads.

Here's my coverage from the protest at Hawthorne Elementary School.
Spoke with administrators at the daycare. They reported around 6 protesters at peak. They moved drop-off ahead to work around them, but said the day went smoothly otherwise.
They did not know why they were targeted.
“We’re surprised that preschools and schools are becoming the scapegoat for something that’s out of our control,” Growing Places Executive Director Pauline McPeake told me.
