#WFH

Ones who are good at delegation of work at office seemed more receptive to idea of longer WFH policies & may even be fine to perpetualise the arrangement.

Managers who prefer to see their reportees in front are less amenable to the idea, as they fear lack of control &

mask their insecurities with reasoning of productivity etc.

Employee perspective is very important while crystallising policies. Resources are more likely to evaluate job options more on HR policies concerning #WFH

Firms that have management push on accommodative #WFH

policies need to maintain discipline & not intrude into personal time & space of employees & HR has to ensure compliance. I get feedback that WFH is taken as an excuse by managers to schedule meetings/updates much beyond office hours. As if employee was responsible for Covid

Firms that are able to work objectively with HR & employees on favourable arrangement are more likely to retain & attract quality resources. Retention of employees is critical to smooth functioning of firm.

(Thread applies only to firms & industries where WFH is possible)
