As I traverse different rural parts of Co Down I notice the cracking views people have. Would be quite a collage or collection if they could be collated to promote the beauty of County Down. First view is from the top road in Dundrum across Shague Hill.

This is the Mournes from Slieve Croob in the Dromara Hills.

Where the Carrig River comes into Dundrum Inner Bay.

One of my favourites, from Dundrum Castle

Evening across Dundrum Inner Bay

The Avenue up to Murlough House

The Squeeze Gut, Strangford, with wedding party in the distance.

View from Castleward towards Portaferry

Goward Dolmen nr. Hilltown

Inch Abbey

Helen's Bay.

Profusion of Blackthorn, Strangford Lough

Horology at Nendrum

The remoteness of Kearney village

Konik horses, Quoile Pondage

Sunset from St John's Point

Sand Art Killough

The serenity of Struel Wells

Killough

Walshestown

From Rossglass, across Dundrum Bay to the Mournes.

The "entrance" stones via the SW end. Audleystown Cairn.

Mournes from Slievenaboley, the Windy Gap.

Near St John's Point

And, of course, St John's Point.

Another view of Goward Dolmen
There used to be a family that lived in stone house with the dolmen at the back door.

Lichen at Goward Dolmen

Evening at Castlewellan lake.

There was no "mist" that I saw when I took this shot by the Lake in Castlewellan Forest Park.

To the mainland from Gores Island, Lecale, evening reflections.

Greyabbey (from a visit with Paul in 2015). Time I was back there,

Ballyhornan - atmosphere

Mournes by Newcastle.

Bloody Bridge

Gores Island across Strangford Lough from Quoile Pondage

Dramatic Cloud Strangford Lough

Ardilea River heading to Dundrum Inner Bay

Mournes from Dundrum Castle

Ballintogher Cobs

Murlough Nature Reserve

Murlough towards the Mournes

Of course, have to include the Legananny Dolmen, Dromara Hills - on a day when all around obscured.

Castlewellan Lake

Saul Church looking so well in the evening light,

Kilbroney River, Rostrevor.

#Tollymore Forest Park

Lecale Lane

Belfast and County Down Railway line at Ardilea, looking across Dundrum Inner Bay to the Mournes.

Clear view to the Mournes, from Slieve Croob.

Walshestown, Lecale
