This shameless collector in Chattisgarh not only abused his power but also slapped an innocent boy out on the road during pandemic and slammed his phone on the road. Not only should he be dismissed from service but there should be FIR. @bhupeshbaghel
I feel bad for the family of this collector. Imagine if this is the level of violence on the road, what kind of domestic violence will he be capable of? I hope CM Chattisgarh, DGP Chattisgarh take note and act. Need to set a precedent. Also DoPT GOI as well. @DrJitendraSingh
LATEST: Collector Surajpur District of Chattisgarh Ranbir Sharma has issued an apology for his behaviour. This is being circulated by Chattisgarh Govt in media for damage control. He is a Govt servant and has to abide by civil service rules. Chattisgarh Govt needs to act ASAP.
The Great Collector in the video is none other than Ranbir Sharma. He was caught red handed taking bribe in 2015 and transferred. Lack of strict action for such crimes has motivated him to now act like a thug and a goon. How will apology or tears help now?timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/raipur/ca…
As per @Im_Hrg the boy who is being beaten by Surajpur Collector @RanbirSharmaIAS was going to deliver food to his father and grandmother in the hospital. There is another 13 year old boy who was going to a chemist to get medicines and was beaten. Photographs below. @sanjg2k1
Meanwhile, Govt of India has taken note. Chief Secretary Chattisgarh has been appraised of the matter as well. I hope there will be strict action to convey a strong message and set a precedent. PR stunt apologies won’t work anymore, nor will transfer. Thank you, @sanjg2k1 ji! 🙏
NEW: Collector Surajpur Ranbir Sharma issues apology video while profusely sweating. No apology is enough for this kind of behavior especially when he has had a poor track record. Hope CM @bhupeshbaghel doesn’t waste anymore time to act. Chattisgarh Govt credibility in danger.
As expected IAS Ranbir Sharma has been transferred by Chattisgarh CM @bhupeshbaghel. This is the least Govt could have done as damage control. This will neither convey a strong message, nor set any precedent for future. Common man is again Bhagwaan Bharose. Unfortunate.
