A little trip down Memory Lane. In March, Jennifer Boylan, a prominent member of the trans community said @HRC was "on it" to influence producers of the @60Minutes program on detransition...

Boylan spilled the beans on Twitter that she was asked (but declined) to interview for the program...thereby alerting the activists who couldn't tolerate detransitioners being allowed the opportunity to tell their stories on a major news program.

Last night, Boylan tweeted about the results of these efforts by a "hardworking group of LGBTQ advocates to pressure" @60Minutes

Some detransitioners who agreed to be interviewed by @60Minutes have expressed frustration at the slant of last night's show, & how they were edited or left out completely. But it's a minor miracle the show survived, given the well-funded pressure campaign @CBS underwent.

The show will make a difference because despite any spin or slant, detransitioners finally got a real voice in what has mostly been a one-note narrative about youth transition.

Boylan's March tweets, archived for posterity.

Dr. Jack Turban also did his best to pressure @60Minutes producers, as he admitted an hour ago.

We will continue to add to this thread with other prominent examples of the coordinated activist attempt to first cancel the @60Minutes program, and now to flood @LesleyRStahl and @CBSNews with complaints.

Dr. Erica Anderson discusses the @60Minutes program in a public Facebook post. Though Anderson did NOT try to get the show cancelled, she did influence the producers to broaden the scope of the show beyond detransition.

Today Jo Olson-Kennedy said that she, too, had tried to pressure @60Minutes & @LesleyRStahl into cancelling coverage of detransitioners. So the bullying came not just from activists, but from the most esteemed practitioners of gender medicine. @CBSNews
