/ So, TES found more evidence to support the case for an earlier outbreak that was not disclosed by China in 2018. This explains why certain regions were hit sooner than others, gained saturation over 2 year period and showed either very little or no impact from virus in 20/21.

/ At the same time, the numbers from Japan show that the true impact (deaths) was miniscule. It never really showed up in any data i was looking at:

/ Maybe Japan has undercounted a little the impact from pneumonia / flu like illness ? Possibly. Or maybe they just did what we always have done by putting main cause of death on the death certificate ? Which is the exact opposite of what is happening now all over the world ?

/ Either way, one would expect a bigger impact from the "deadly" virus, especially in country like Japan, which has the oldest pop. it the world while also having 36m (!) people over 65. The main claim is that age = biggest risk factor. So why no meaningful impact in Japan ?

/ And even more shocking is the lack of lockdowns, no panic & mostly lots of cases in their "flu" 2018/2019 season. But the media did what it always does, they tried to overplay the impact and "big flu season" was part of the news in Japan for a while.

/ Now, i really need to derail the "prior immunity" bandwagon once again, as i keep seeing this issue being vastly misunderstood and misrepresented. Japan serves as a perfect example as to why prior immunity plays little role in outcomes from ...

/ .. exposure to SARS-CoV-2. What actually matters (key role) is the overall health status & robustness of the entire immune system. The driver of the entire biochemistry is daily macro & micro-nutrient intake & nutrient stores within the body.

/ Contributors are sun exposure, movement, exercise, healthy lifestyle & good sleeping habits. General population shouldn't be worrying about pathogens or flu like viruses, they should be focusing at keeping themselves healthy. The body will do the rest.

/ Host health is the biggest risk factor when it comes to SARS-CoV-2. People conveniently forget the fact that old age often correlates with poor diet, inactivity, no exercise, malnutrition & deficiencies, no sun exposure, having comorbidities etc.
