Excavation continued from 1974, 1986, 1997 to 2000.
Vast span of continuous cultural periods from aceramic neolithic to early Harappan settlement.

Oldest human representation at Mehrgarh is made of "Mother of Pearl" in standing attitude.
Unique, Atypical.
Found along the western wall of a building of level 1 (Period 1-Neolithic).
Associated with limestone pendant of the same type.
