Jin always knew Namjoon isn't big on physical contact and casual physical affection. It never really bothers him though, his boyfriend always manages to find other ways to show his love and affection towards him.

He loves the way Namjoon looks at him like he's a treasure sent from the heavens, the deep rooted appreciation always visible in the gentle stares and lovely smiles sent his way.

He loves the words Namjoon chooses to address him, always laced with so much tenderness and well earned respect.

Jin always appreciates how Namjoon just knows how to comfort him. Even if it's just a light squeeze to his nape, to help him ground himself.

Jin is in love with his delicate touches to the small of his back, quietly pushing him forward and giving him courage to speak his mind. Reminding him he's not alone. Never alone

But just because Namjoon prefers to show his affection in a more subdued way, it doesn't mean he's not fond of Jin and his touchy habits. He even openly admits the fact that he loves and craves his boyfriend's attention when they're in their own private space.

They love to lay together in bed and hold hands as they do their own things. Sometimes it's one of them reading and the other working, other times they just sit there propped up against each other conversing in hushed voices.

But Jin's favorite moments they spent together consist mostly of them waking up in the morning. Jin loves sleeping in so Namjoon always wakes him up carefully with a soft 'good morning' and affectionate kiss on the forehead.

On the rare mornings when Jin wakes up before his lover, he traces the firm lines of his body with his fingertips, always amazed at how his boyfriend's body responds to his touches even when he's asleep.

When Namjoon finally wakes up from his slumber, he opens his lids lazily, eyes still hazy with sleep. And when he notices Jin touching his body with his pretty hands, he grasps one of the said hands, brings it up to his mouth and kisses the knuckles softly.

While his other hand finds his way around Jin's waist and up his shirt. The gentle touch always sends pleasant shivers up his spine. Makes him feel grounded but incredibly sensitive at the same time.

Jin knows his boyfriend isn't into public displays of affection because of multiple different reasons but he's also aware that none of those reasons are connected to shame of being in a same-sex relationship or Jin himself.

"There's nothing to be ashamed of my love," he once told Jin, when they just begun dating, and kissed him on the cheek while they walked along the Han River together.

"I just believe our love should be reserved to us," he squeezed Jin's hand just a bit tighter, "we have close to no privacy as it is. But being with you feels liberating, you know?" And Jin knows, because he feels exactly the same as Namjoon.
