Ms. Mullin provides feedback, "Holistic approach"

Mr. Baumgatner, "I agree with your basic premise. I just don't know what collection looks like."

Kevin Payton chimes, "I agree with Mark Baumgatner that we have to be careful [about soliciting feedback from students.]"

ACS CEO Lori McClung, "If we can work on this offline. ... We will short thrift if we try to resolve this now. There are multiple elements related to this."

A conversation about in-person, remote, or blended learning and individual choice versus school choice occurs between CTA Board members. It will continue offline to clarify the language and intent.

Alan reflects on Indicator Student Achievement Item 6, "It makes me nervous about drawing a line through 6. We need some kind of measurement."

Indicator Finance CTA Board Feedback,

Helen Williams provides feedback, "[Item 1] The language implies we spend too much. ... We need a little bit different language here."

ACS CEO, "If that is what you perceive it as, we need to tweak it. It isn't about either/or."

Several members agree to participate to tweak the langugae.

CTA Executie Director Marnecheck briefly reviews the Neighborhood Leadership Institute proposal. CTA seeks to commission NLI to produce a report to help update the Cleveland Plan Refresh.

Dr. Monyka Price, "I will caution NLI to not just focus on groups that are convenient for them but what we need and our efforts."

Erin Randel reflects on NLI, "Their membership networks cuts across race, class, and other ... I will have to recuse myself as I am a member."

Dr. Monyka Price motions to approve the contract with NLI to produce a report for CTA.

Alan seconds as long as clarification happens.

They are reviewing to see if they have quorum, which is 12. They do. CTA Board approves the motion to contract with NLI.

CTA motioned and approved to enter into a contract to hire Neighborhood Leadership Institution to produce a report that will be used to update the Cleveland Plan.
