Lloyd's lawyer says she had "many political and ethical discussions" with Lloyd, and gave her a book/movie list to better educate herself, incl. Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, Just Mercy, and Schindler's List. Lloyd filed reports on the latter two with the court

Lloyd tells the judge she's a registered Dem but supported Trump b/c "he was standing up for what we believe in." She said she takes responsibility, notes she didn't break anything and things seemed calm around her, but acknowledges being part of the crowd empowered the violence
Lloyd writes that she's led a "sheltered" life and after reading books/watching movies recc'd by her lawyer, she's "learned that even though we live in a wonderful country things still need to improve. People of all colors should feel as safe as I do to walk down the street."
