Turkey would play out from the back with the intention of using possession on the left side to progress the ball.

Moore would man-mark Yokuslu, forcing Turkey to use a second pivot.

Turkey would use this possession poorly, targeting the spaces behind the Welsh fullbacks and rarely, if ever, using their midfield players.

This was the only way Turkey would attempt to progress with the ball and routinely failed due to their lack of quality and Wales' press.

When Turkey did manage to move the ball into the middle third, it was often through the left back Meras and Calhanoglu, whose role had him work primarily in the left half-space.

Once the ball reached a central player, Turkey struggled to move the ball into the final third.

Wales comfortably played out from defense due to Turkey's poor press and overall structure in defense.

Wales would focus their build up play on the left as Cengiz Under, Yilmaz and Kenan Karaman were often in poor positions at the start of their press.

Turkey rarely changed their pressing patterns so this allowed Wales to consistently play out from the back easily.

The Turkish defensive, midfield and forward lines are too far apart, allowing the Welsh players to play between the lines easily, further progressing the ball.

When Turkey changed their pressing structure, Wales would play out from the back with two pivots, Morrell and Allen, while Ramsey drops between the two to receive the ball.

Turkey left too much space between their defensive lines, allowing for consistent exposure.

Once Wales could play out from the back they would target the left flank.

Daniel James would hug the touchline, forcing Celik to follow him, allowing for Ramsey or Allen to attack the left half-space when in moving from the middle third to the final third.

This was a poor defensive showing from Turkey & the score line flatters them. Wales could have had three goals from Aaron Ramsey alone.

Wales can be confident going forward as they've clearly shown how to create chances. However, their ability will be tested by stronger teams.
