American Indians are basically incarcerated on the Rez. they aren't "aspiring rappers" and they don't get athletic scholarships. they don't burn cities. they don't kill outside their race. they aren't elevated bc of their race.
and they don't have federal holidays.

my husband is Cherokee (EBCI) ... he loves this country and rarely gets his ire up about past grievances.
tonight he was mad...
not for his people so much as for the constant pandering to people who were never slaves yet never shut up about slavery.
his family integrated well.
