(1) As it's the last regular game week of the @NetballSL
before finals w/e here's an insight into what goes on in preparation for each game..

As each team has access to one another's footage via @HudlAnalysis this allows for teams to look into opposition video and statistics.

(2) Standard netball statistics are coded from each game (CP's, goals, turnovers etc). With the help of @HudlAnalysis we are able to generate output reports which process these statistics into the raw counts and % to allow us to look for trends.

(3) When we prepare for an opposition we try to look at most recent games or any similar game where similar matchups might occur. We will collect some of our own information around general trends in performance, CP Receivers, Feeds and some further shooting information.

(4) We break the information down and add further detailed tagging including X and Y coordinates using @FulcrumTec which then allows us to import into Tableau to visualise.

(5) Centre Pass Receivers 1st/2nd phase can be broken down into their locations across the quarters.

(6) Shooting information is also collated - again to look for key trends in performance in the shooting circle.

(7) A key part of my role has been constantly reviewing the technology available in order to maximise the effectiveness of the analysis delivery. We hope to continue developing these processes and tweaking as we go.

(8) Maybe one day we can get access to data on the same level as @SuperNetball etc. Until then, the work will be put together with the help of some wonderful @UniWorcAnalysis students. #performanceanalysis #worcesteruni
